Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav, on Monday, had lunch with British MPs. Talking to the MPs over lunch, Dr. Yadav said, “My visit to the British Parliament today once again reminded me how rich our democratic tradition is, as Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi says, “This partnership is also linked to history and is also important for the future.” Referring to the vision of Prime Minister Shri Modi, Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that India-UK relations are now a living bridge. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav expressed his gratitude to British MPs Sushri Baroness Verma, Shri Bob Blackman, Lord Shri Kulveer Singh Ranger, Shri Virendra Sharma, and Shri Barry Gardiner for sparing their time and accepting the invitation for lunch.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav, who reached London on his UK visit, visited the British Parliament on Monday. He had lunch with British MPs. During this, while discussing with British MPs, Chief Minister Dr. Yadav mentioned the vision of Prime Minister Shri Modi. He reiterated that in the vision of Prime Minister Shri Modi, the India-UK partnership is focused on technology, innovation, and knowledge partnership. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav told the British MPs that Madhya Pradesh is an important center of India’s journey of development.
The economy of the state is growing in double digits. The Chief Minister said that Madhya Pradesh has special potential for investment and development in agri-business, automobile, and auto-component, pharmaceutical, and IT sectors. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav invited the guest MPs to attend the proposed Global Investors Summit in Bhopal in February 2025. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav expressed the hope that this dialogue will mark the historic beginning of a new partnership between India and Britain.
