MLA had expressed concern over security
In Mauganj district, intoxicating syrup, ganja, illegal liquor business is flourishing, but relatively less action is being taken. MLA has expressed concern many times.
You have left the vehicle and traveled by bus, what is the reason?
We did not get a vehicle from the government, so we took it. We returned the gunmen and if we have to travel alone, why should we take a four-wheeler. We can travel by bus or motorcycle. Even earlier, we used to travel by bus and bike.
What is the reason for leaving the facilities of the government?
Someone gave a memorandum that the MLA is in danger. There have been three attacks. We sent two gunmen to Bhopal and sent a message that the problem has been solved, security arrangements have been increased. We returned the gunmen, if you try to distract us from the main issue, I will not.
There are reports that you were called to Bhopal, whom did you meet?
We were not called to Bhopal. We are focusing on how we can return to our original life and how we can live a comfortable life.
Is this entire protest of yours going on to stop drug abuse?
We have an old fight against drug abuse and everyone knows this. We go to the state also. When we fought the elections, we were not even allowed to smell a drop of alcohol. We are working on that campaign. There is no such work in Bhopal right now. The government is running a 15-day campaign against drug abuse, but the work will be done only when those who want to take action will run the campaign.
